Sketchmore

Privacy policy

Effective 17 October 2026

Sketchmore is a free drawing app for the web, Android, iPhone and iPad, made by Grossard Education Pty Ltd. This policy explains what it keeps and what it sends.

On your device

  • Your drawings stay with you. Drawings, their names, your brush settings and the list of drawings are kept on your device: in your browser's storage on the website, and in the app's own storage on Android and iOS.
  • No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. There is no sign-in, no crash reporting and no cookies. Nothing about you is collected or shared.
  • An author code. Each install makes a random code of eight letters and numbers. It marks which changes in a drawing are yours, so Undo takes back only your own when you draw with others. It says nothing about you.
  • Photos to trace. A photo you choose to trace is copied into the app's storage on your device, beside its drawing. It is never put in the drawing, exported or sent, and it is deleted with the drawing. The apps only see the photos you pick.
  • Exports. Images, vector files and replay videos are made on your device. Where they go next is up to you.

Drawing together

Nothing leaves your device unless you choose Draw together or open someone's link to a shared drawing. Then:

  • The shared drawing is kept on our server so everyone with the link can draw on it: every stroke and change, each with the author code of whoever made it, and the size of the page. Anyone with the link can see and change it. The link is the only key, so share it only with people you want to draw with.
  • Pointers are passed on, not kept. Where your pointer is and the stroke you are drawing go to the others in the drawing as you draw, and are not stored.
  • Your network address is used only while you are connected, to stop the server being misused. It is not recorded.
  • How long. A shared drawing nobody opens for 180 days is deleted from the server. Stopping drawing together keeps your own copy on your device. To report a shared drawing or have it deleted sooner, choose Report this drawing in the app or email us its link; we can delete it for everyone.

Children

The app is made for people of all ages. It asks for no personal information and shows no ads. Drawing together has no names, chat or messages, and only people with a drawing's link can join it.

Sharing and hosting

We do not sell or share data. Amazon Web Services hosts the website and the drawing-together server on our behalf. The App Store and Google Play deliver the apps under their own policies.

Your choices

You can use everything except drawing together without anything leaving your device. Deleting a drawing, or the app, removes it from your device. To ask about a shared drawing or have it deleted, email support@grossard.com.au.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Questions go to Grossard Education Pty Ltd, Victoria, Australia, at support@grossard.com.au.
