Drawing

Draw with one finger, a pen or the mouse. Pinch with two fingers to zoom, turn and move around. Near upright, it snaps straight.
Tap with two fingers to undo, and with three to redo.
Hold still at the end of a line to snap it to a straight line, circle, ellipse, square or rectangle.
Hold a finger still on the drawing to pick up the colour under it.
Drag the brush button up or down to change the size. On a tablet or computer, the sliders at the side change the size and opacity.
With a pen that senses pressure, press harder for a wider line with the pen and calligraphy brushes. Once a pen has been used, fingers move the drawing instead of drawing, so a resting hand leaves no marks; More has Draw with finger to change that. A pen's eraser end rubs out.
Select draws a loop round strokes to move, turn, resize, flip or delete them.
To trace a photo, open More and choose Trace a photo. It shows faintly under your drawing, as strongly as you like, and is never part of it: not in exports, not shared. Remove photo takes it away.

Ctrl+Z undoes, Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y redoes (Cmd on a Mac).
[ and ] change the size. E is the eraser and B goes back to the brush.
P pen, M marker, H highlighter, C calligraphy, A airbrush, F fill, S select. Delete removes what is selected.
Ctrl+= and Ctrl+- zoom, Ctrl+0 goes back to 100% and upright. Scroll to move around, with Ctrl to zoom.

Every change saves itself. The grid button at the top opens all your drawings, to start a new one, rename, duplicate or delete.
Deleted drawings stay in Recently deleted for 30 days, so you can bring them back.
Drawings are kept on your device. On the website they live in your browser, so clearing its data deletes them. To keep a copy, choose Export, then Drawing file; Open file on the Drawings screen opens it again, here or on another device.
Turn on Transparent background in Export for an image or vector file without the white page, for stickers and layouts.

Where it is offered, choose Draw together under Export, then share the link. Anyone with it can draw with you at the same time.
Each person's Undo takes back only their own changes.
To report a shared drawing, tap the people button at the top and choose Report this drawing, or email us its link. We can take it down for everyone.
